Hello!
Today we have the second tune in the set that on the album is called Midsommarn (that tune is tomorrow!) Again this is a silverbasharpa tune that can be played against a CD drone on a standard modern nyckelharpa. But it works just as well on a kontrabasharpa with a G drone, see the trio video below. So who was this Calle Svankvist, the fact that this tune works on either kontrabasharpa and silverbasharpa could help us to date him.... Watch this space to find out!
